share folder and share printer

Step 1:
Once the Network Magic setup is complete and the main menu appears, click on Task and select Share a Folder. 

Step 2:
Select the folder you want to share from the list and click Share.  In this example, the AP Update folder from the Desktop is used as an example to be shared.

The Folder will be initializing for sharing.
NOTE:  For security reasons, you may not be able to share certain folders with Network Magic such as an entire drive or folders in C:\Windows.

 

NOTE:  It may take some time for the Network Magic to complete the Sharing process depending on the data in the folder.  If it detects a large amount of data being shared, it will give a warning and will show the estimated time left to complete the sharing process.
Step 3:
Once the folder has been shared, a “Folder Has Been Shared” message will appear. Click Finish.

You have successfully shared the folder on your network.  The AP Update folder you've just shared can be accessed through Windows and Network Magic.

Accessing the AP Update through Windows

Step 1:
Double-click on the Network Magic Folders  icon on your desktop.

The AP Update folder would be displayed in this folder. If you are using Windows XP, your screen would be similar to the image below.

If you are using Windows Vista, your screen would look similar to the image below.

Step 1:
Double-click on the Network Magic  icon on your desktop.     

Step 2:
Click on the Share tab.  

Step 3:
Under Shared Folders, double-click on the AP Update folder to open it.
